Descripción:

Giuseppe Garibaldi, who had previously fought in revolutions in Uruguay, South America, was adamant that the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies be part of a unified Italy. He takes 1000 young volunteers from Genoa to Sicily to conquer Sicily and he does, merging it with Northern Italy to make The Kingdom of Italy.
However, he doesn’t end up taking the Papal States and Venetia is still not part of the kingdom which is a problem.
Naples, 1862: King Victor Emmanuel and Garibaldi meetup to discuss Italian unity. Victor Emmanuel wants it to remain a monarchy and Garibaldi, even though he’s traditionally a republican, just agrees.
