Phil Spector founded PHILLES records in 1962 at 21 and became America’s youngest label owner and signed all the artists he would produce, so he owned them. 18/21 of his releases were hits, and sold over 1mil copies each. His 1963 Christmas album, “A Christmas Gift for You” is regarded as the best holiday album ever.
