She is the creator of Follett's Organizations as Communities. She was a trailblazer during the transition from Classical Thinking to Behavioiral Management. She was eulogized at her death as "one of the most important women America has produced in the fields of civics and sociology". Most of her ideas are still highly reputable and used today, just coined with different terms.
