Descripción:
The British fortified the Wappetaw Meeting House (Church) in 1781. Patriot Col Hezekiah Maham's State Troops and militia attacked the meeting house. The British took a beating with a number of Royal Troops killed or captured. The British abandond and burned the meeting house in Jan 1782.Añadido al timeline:
