Suez war (29 oct 1956 año – 7 nov 1956 año)

Descripción:

The same month that Nasser took control of the Suez Israeli PM Ben Gurion started making war plans and colluded with Britain and France to reclaim the Sinai. It altered the balance of European power in the Middle East ( last roar of the British imperial lion) as the USA took over from Britain and France. US became closely associated with Israel, the Soviets took advantage of that to reinforce relationships with Egypt and promise further arms supplies.
