As per the Douglas Brinkley article in Vanity Fair (attached herewith) Johnny Depp flew from LA to Nassau where he boarded his yacht The Vajoliroja. Accompanied by Douglas, Stephen Deuters, Nathan Holmes and Keenan Wyatt they sailed to The Island where spent some days exploring before cruising to Puerto Rico ready for filming on The Rum Diary.
