World War I (28 jul 1914 año – 11 nov 1918 año)

Descripción:

-Tensions were already high in Europe. France wanted German land back, Germany was greedy,
-Was started by the assassination of the archduke Ferdinand of Austria-Hungary.
-The murder was blamed on the Serbian government and A-H declared war on Serbia. A-H was allied with Germany, so Germany agreed to help.
-Serbia is protected by Russia who is friends with France. Now Germany is at war with France and Russia.
-Germany tries to go around French defenses through Belgium. This makes Britain angry and they join the war
-Trench warfare on the Western front
-Italy switches to the Allies side
-The Ottoman Empire is friends with Germany. They suck at war tho.
-Germans violated modern warfare rules and used chemical weapons and killed civilians
-Germans sink the Lusitania, US is ANGRY
-Bulgaria and A-H kill Serbia
-Russia has an uprising, new gov overthrows the tzar, Bolsheviks take over. Russia pulls out of the war
-The Zimmerman Telegram: Mexico :) attack America Please :) British intercepts, America joins war
-Germany loses. They must reduce military, accept war guilt, and pay for the war
