A series crusades, mostly failures, are launched for myriad purposes, but generally to take back the Holy Land from Muslim control. Numerous atrocities beyond those committed against Muslim peoples include Christians killing Jews, Catholic Christians killing Orthodox Christians, cannibalism, and more.

There were many crusades throughout the years, and while most ended in failure, some also ended in success. Yet, a number of bad things happened while crusading, like:
- Killing of Jews, Catholics, & Orthodox
- Cannibalism
