29. Nuremberg Trials* (20 nov 1945 año – 1 oct 1946 año)

Descripción:

The Allies put 24 surviving Nazi leaders on trial for their war crimes especially for the events of the Holocaust. These people were military leaders, party members, government minsters, and powerful industrialists who helped fuel The Nazi party and stood by Hitler. Out of the 24 that were tried, 12 of them were sentenced to death.
Significance - Anyone connected to Hitler and participated in the horrendous actions of the Nazi Party were investigated and tried for crimes that they committed. Hundreds of people were held accountable for their actions to try to come close to pay for what they did.
