Lewis and Clark Expedition (14 mayo 1804 año – 23 sept 1806 año)

Descripción:

Known as the Corp or Exploration, this group of 37 army personnel and 4 civilians led by Meriwether Lewis and William Clark explored the Louisiana purchase by order of Thomas Jefferson. They mapped the territory, traded with the native Americans, and took biological samples. It took over two years to travel the entire distance of the territory revealing the magnitude of the aquisition.
