On May 28th of 1830 President Andrew Jackson signed the Indian Removal Act. This was to allow white Americans to remove the native Americans, seize, and claim their lands as their own. The tribes that were forecably removed were made to travel west. This journey became known as the Trail of Tears.Añadido al timeline:
