This is a more common for the invasion of allied Greece by Fascist Italy and Nazi Germany. The bulk of the Greek army stood on the Greek border with Albania, while the German troops invaded from Bulgaria. The Greek army was heavily outnumbered and at a disadvantage. The German force couldn't be handled and the Greece army was wiped out by them and the British and New Zealand forces were forced to retreat. The German army faced the last of them at Athens where they captured nearly 7,000 soldiers.
