Descripción:

The Suez Canal Crisis was started when the president of Egypt, Gamal Abdel Nasser, had nationalized the Suez canal. This would soon cause Iserial to push their armed troops into Egypt since this canal was a very valuable waterway that controlled two-thirds of the oil used by Europe. This quickly brought in France and Britain. This nearly brought the soviet union which hurt the relationship with the U.S. It also showed that Britain had become a second tier country when it came to global super powers.
