The Qing Dynasty was the last imperial Chinese Dynasty and embraced traditional Chinese traditions and culture such as Confucian ideals and the Civil Service Exam. During the late 1600s and early 1700s, The dynasty commits the Dzungar genocide, in which around one million Tibetan Buddhists, Dzungars, whom the Qing Dynasty finds threatening, are killed. This is often considered the first organized genocide.
