Reign Of The Vikings In Europe (1 dic 789 año – 1 ene 1066 año)
Descripción:
Onwards from 789, Norwegian Vikings started conquests west and south to gain gold and other riches from European towns. These raids were usually very violent and widely feared. Vikings spread all the way down to America in the west and Bagdad in the east. As time went on, the Vikings strategy's of raiding became less profitable and desirable as changes in Europe took place. They started suffering many defeats until their final battle in 1066 known as the battle of Stanford bridge took place.
