Mary Jane Watson is cast in the pro-mutant adventure film X-Statix, about a group of young mutants who become super heroes. The film stars Alison Blaire, and is loosely based on the adventures of the X-Men.

Quentin Beck serves as the stunt coordinator on the film, and develops an unhealthy attachemnt towards Mary Jane Watson.
