With the short parliament being a mess Charles still realised that he still need parliament help now sorry he reopen it again again. This time the parliament was not letting there guard down still but Charles was so helpless what he started a war without any money nor army so he was in trouble. So this time man just had to agree to all the harsh terms. Like the triennial act there parliament had to be called at least once every 3 years needing government had to still be present in englands power. And also one oh the biggest rule would be the consent act at the start where now the king can’t dissolved parliament without parliaments agreement and consent this really really rub King Charles the 1st the wrong way because now parliament now haves the fount on him. Which he did not like at all. also, there was the habeas corpus act which was now saying that Charles couldn't imprison anyone that he liked. he had to have an agreement with parliament with good facts to back him up. Charles the 1st was feeling less like a king every day.
