Descripción:

- Was from the Edo people in Benin, Nigeria
- Unknown artist, but was meant to be seen by general people of Edo and Oba, and traders who came such as the Portuguese.
- The material used was cast brass
- The purpose of this piece was to enforce hierarchy of rank and some argued that it could be for historical record and in addition was to keep track of lineage of rulers
