- Located in Andes Mountains, Peru
- Made by the Inca People
- Made of stone
- Main buildings were reserved for the Incan elite and stones all were shaped to fit one another, not to look uniform. Most building's layout showed the social divisions, with the worst built houses being built for the lower class. Machu Picchu also had many religious structures scattered around the city
