During the early periods of the Oipientixian Reformation, one group, the Thesians, split from the Atobastic heresy. The Thesians differed among the ATobastics almost only by the beilef of fasting during the Ascencion of Alo. However, conflict between the Southern Atobastics and the Thesians started and further split the groups. The Thesians are still categorized as being Atobastic but are considered to be a subgroup of them.

The Atobastics pushed the Thesians into hiding into Southern Oipienta in mainly Sestos, Daroub, and near Atetak eng Barob.
