Just 6 months after Japan's first attack against the U.S., Japan fought us again in the Battle of Midway. Just like Pearl harbor, Japan was threatened by the United States and wanted to stop their supply trade. Unlike the Battle of Coral, the Battle of Midway was a huge victory for the US, we stopped the Japanese march and only lost one battle ship to Japan, leaving us less vulnerable.
