The seven years war that Britain fought just ended and late they passed the royal proclamation to America. The Royal Proclamation made it so the settlers can’t take aboriginal land from the aboriginals, and only the crown can take or buy that aboriginal land. Meaning the only way for settlers to gain aboriginal land is if the crown sells or gives it to them.
