Discovered in 2122, Revaldin challenged humans to multiple small skirmishes. They find honor in these specific fights where both opponents are prepared properly. If humans declined the skirmish then Revaldin would force a fight on their own accord. For multiple years this persisted until humans managed to win a inordinate number of these fights through ingenuity and better strategic planning. Now every 10 years a 1 year skirmish occurs between the two factions in honor of their past. And a pact between the two were formed.
