Descripción:
Reconstruction was a period after the civil war. It was the remaking of the southern states and determining the legal status of African Americans. Abraham Lincoln made a blueprint for Reconstruction that included a plan. Which says that the southern states could be admitted to the Union if 10 percent of its voters swore an oath of allegiance to the North. Abraham Lincoln died six days after the civil war ended. He was assassinated in Peterson House, Washington D.C. by John Wilkes Booth. Abraham Lincoln's last words were “She won't think anything about it” answering the question“What will Miss Harris think of my hanging on to you so?”.
