Auschwitz Death Camp (1 ene 1941 año – 27 ene 1945 año)
Descripción:
On the outside, Auschwitz was just a labor camp where the Nazis put Jews to work in reasonable conditions, but it was anything but. Auschwitz was a death camp where people- not only Jews, but Poles, gypsies and disabled people- were put to work until they died from exhaustion. That is, if they weren't murdered in the gas chambers or taken off for experiments or beaten to death or starved. At least 1.1 million people died in this death camp alone, and Auschwitz stayed open from 1941 to 1945, when it was liberated by the Soviet Union army.
