Karl Marx was a German philosopher and economist. He is best know for for the Communist Manifesto which was written by him and Fredrich Engles. The Communist Manifesto is the manual Lenin used to build communist Russia. It has been hailed as one of the most influential pieces of writing ever. It outlines in specific detail the societal practice of Communism and why it is the best and inevitable choice for modern civilization. Karl Marx worked much of his life as a journalist. Due to his extreme views he was exiled from many countries including Belgium and France. After writing the Communist Manifesto, Marx wrote Das Kapital. This piece explored why capitalism is the wrong choice for societies. It explains that capitalism keeps the poor poor and cannot last.
