The civil war between Marcus Antony and Octavian (31 dic 44 año aC – 7 agos 30 año aC)

Antony had been having an affair with Cleopatra who was Egypt's queen. This angered Octavian since  Antony had been married to Octavian's niece.  Octavian then went on a warpath against Antony. As a result, Octavian defeats Mark Antony and his new lover Cleopatra. This marked the end of the Republic and start of the Roman Empire
