Spartacus who was a gladiator led a revolt against Rome due to slavery. He gathered many other slaves who wanted to be freed and fought back. They fought with many new combat methods for the time. It was very successful and as a result, Rome's slave owners and officials' morale was crushed because It showed that Slaves can fight and are a threat to them.
