The Two-Year War (1 oct 1938 año – 15 abr 1939 año)
Descripción:
Hitler played his cards right and used his time wisely.
He was able to station enough divisions on the Western Front to hold off any Allied troops from the Siegfried Line, a series of German fortifications in the Rhineland, while moving his Wehrmacht troops from Poland to the Czech and Yugoslavian borders.
Soon, the time has come... and it wouldn't be long when on October 1st 1938, German Jackboots began marching into the neutral Czechoslovak Republic.
Without the Czechoslovak fortifications on the Sudetes that they lost from the Germans, Czechoslovakia became disorganized, demoralized and unprepared.
To make things worse, the Kingdom of Hungary began invading the Czechoslovaks from the south.
On the very same day, the Allied powers of France, Yugoslavia and the United Kingdom declared war on the German Reich - this erupted a new great war in Europe.
On October 2nd, the Kingdom of Hungary invades the south of Czechoslovakia and declared war on Yugoslavia.
Italy, on the other hand, chose to declare war on the Kingdom of Yugoslavia and paid little attention to the French-Italian border.
This war would end with the two, seperate peace treaties of Zürich and Turin
