During the civil war the Union and Confederation had over 3.1 million soldiers engaged in the war. By the end of the war 620 thousand dead and millions more injured. The American civil war was fought for the freedom of slaves,the differences between the southern and northern states, trades, and for their rights.Without the american civil war the world what be very different. Slavery could still be possible and possibly the southern states could leave America. The american civil war plays a big part of our present world. Without it North AMerica could be very different as well as the rest rest of the world.
