Cuban Missile Crisis (16 oct 1962 año – 28 oct 1962 año)

Descripción:

The Cuban MIssile Crisis was a 2 week long standoff between the US and the Soviet Union concerning the installation of missiles in Cuba. The US set up a naval blockade around Cuba. An invasion was averted when the Soviet Union agreed to remove the missiles.

Significance: This crisis affected America directly. If the government failed to end it, then many Americans might be killed in an attack.
