Rev. Billy Sunday (1 ene 1900 año – 1 ene 1920 año)
Descripción:
One of the most prominent figures of the fundamentalist movement and the temperance movement, Rev. Sunday held large revivals of uptown 98,000 people across the U.S. and spoke repeatedly of the evils of alcohol and persuaded many to give up drinking. The significance of Rev. Sunday was that he lay the groundwork for future reverends such as Billy Graham to argue for a greater role for religion in secular life in the U.S.
