Descripción:

Before the war the Koreans were separated on the 38th parallel. North Korea was communist, while South Korea was democratic. One day, North Korea crossed the border into South Korea and quickly attacked. The South Koreans, infuriated, tried to retaliate but were overwhelmed by the North Korean army. The United States lended its aid to South Korea, and with their help, the North Koreans were pushed back to their border. China didn't like this, and began to give military aid to North Korea. While China and North Korea almost won this war, The US and South Korea managed to push them back and win. This war still continues to divide North and South Korea today.
