After major figure such as Elon Musk, start putting major public promotion, money and brain power into creating the reality of human life on mars. Mars Colonization begins. This leads to the formation of Mars Republic and the industry of mars Tourism takes off. However a large asteroid hits a major growing colony on Mars in 2027. This causes major reconsideration of the safety of Mars, a new wave of protests circle the world as the safety of Mars comes into question. Even still around 2037, a major wave of Mars colonization begins.
