A lot of the DJ’s who helped shape Hip Hop were from Bronx New york. One of these DJ’s was DJ Kool Herc he was regarded as a DJ pioneer who was one of the founders of Hip Hip. The Jamaican DJ introduced a lot of new techniques to the DJ world. DJ Kool Herc would speak in rhythm and rhyme over instrumental parts of songs to hype the crowd as a form of early rapping. A microphone Controllers job was slowly beginning to convert to what we now know as rapping. The MC’s would rap verses over the music. Dj Kool Herc would help shape the culture to the Hip Hop culture we know today.
