J.J. Thomson (United Kingdom) (1 ene 1856 año – 1 ene 1940 año)
Descripción:
He came up with the “plum pudding” model of the atom, which described it to be positively charged sphere with smaller negatively charged spheres embedded on it. He also said that the positive charge of the atom equalled its negative charge.
He used experiments with “canal rays” (positive charge) and “cathode rays” (negative charge) to provide evidence for his theory.
