By around AD 100, the Romans had conquered most of Britain... apart from Scotland. The Romans repeatedly tried to invade Scotland, but the Scottish kept fighting back. To solve the problem, a Roman Emperor named Hadrian ordered a huge wall to be built - to protect Roman borders and separate the Scottish "barbarians" from the "civilized" people in Roman Britain.Añadido al timeline:
