Descripción:

Cause: result of taxation without representation. American colonists believed Britain was unfairly taxing them to pay for expenses incurred during the French and Indian War.

Effect: major act of defiance to British rule over the colonist. Showed Great Britain that Americans wouldn't take taxation and tyranny and rallied patriots across the 13 colonies to fight for independence.
