Much like the First Great Stagnation, the Second would be preceded by the creation of a massive nation. This nation being the Alonian Empire. These large lapses of time in which international affairs take the back seat happen for a reason. They are do to overall restructuring within the new state/states, and the diplomatic restructuring of other states throughout the world.
