The Great Leap Forward (1 ene 1958 año – 1 ene 1961 año)

The Great Leap forward was a plan lead by communist leader Mao Zedong to modernize China. This lead to the starvation, murder, and cannibalism of 18 to 45 million people.

1. Nobody should have to die this way and this could have easily been avoided.

2. Would this still happen if the Chinese government was a democracy while Mao was leader. I do not think so.

3. This says something about the Chinese government. After all of this they called it the three years of natural disaster, and covered up or silenced anyone who tried to come out with the truth

4. This makes it seem like the Chinese government is not low enough to destroy rivalling countries with a man made virus. after all they have done worse before.

5. Hopefully countries will not make the same mistake because then all this would have truly been for nothing.
