Dunkirk (27 mayo 1940 año – 4 jun 1940 año)

Descripción:

As Germany invaded France, the allied forces were caught between the enemy and the sea. In a desperate attempt to recuse some of the allied troops, Britain requested that anyone who owned a boat to aid in rescuing the troops from the french port of Dunkirk. The Germans then made an error and decided to stop advancing and focus on maintenance for vehicles, giving the allies enough time to begin to move troops out. The British ended up saving around 300,000 allied troops (French and English). Although saving troops, they were forced to leave all equipment and rations behind. This event marked the Nazis first slip-up and that when called upon, the allies were up to any task.
