Descripción:

After the Mexican American war ended the United State gained a significant amount of land from Mexico. There were many disputes about how slavery should be administered in the newly aquired territory at a national level and at a domestic level between the people living in the new territories. This help lead to the Civil War because thousands of people disputed between Abolitionists and people that were pro slavery.
