James I (19 jun 1566 año – 27 mar 1625 año)
Descripción:
James I was born on June 19, 1566, in Edinburgh Castle, Edinburgh, Scotland, and died on March 27, 1625, in Theobalds, Hertfordshire, England. He was the king of Scotland under the name James VI from 1567 to 1625 and was the first Stuart king of England from 1603 to 1625, which he called himself “king of Great Britain.” James was a big supporter of royal absolutism, meaning the monarch holds complete power, and his disputes with a newly forthright Parliament led to the revolt against his successor and son, Charles I.
