Descripción:

He spent most of his life on the Iberian peninsula (Spain and Portugal). Milán did not gain significant enough attention through his dedication of vihuela compositions to John III of Portugal, a skilled vihuelist, to be brought to the royal court in Portugal. The vihuela is a distinctly Spanish string instrument similar to the lute or viol.
