Bernart de Ventadorn (1 ene 1130 año – 1 ene 1200 año)
Descripción:
He was Frenchman of humble beginnings, as the son of either a servant or baker. He learned poetry and music from the patron at Ventadorn, and in the 1150s entered the service of Eleanor of Aquitaine, one of the most powerful women of the twelfth century. She was the duchess of Aquitaine, queen of France (1137-1152) by marriage to Louis VII, and later duchess of Normandy and queen of England (1154-89) by marriage to Henry II. Ventadorn brought troubadour tradition north and was instrumental in inspiring the development of trovere songs.
