The Crimean WarThe war that initiated the breakdown of the Holy Alliance order established at the Congress of Vienna. The allied states waged war against each other, fearing the domination of Russia.
France, the UK and Turkey against Russia. Austria also threatened the tsar with war.
The decisive battle was the siege of Sevastopol. In the end, Russia suffered a defeat.
