I chose this event because I want to learn more about how Norman conquered England. Also, I learned about how countries conquered each other and I never heard about this one, so I want to dive more into it. After researching this event, I learned that the war resulted in political, administrative, and social changed in the British Isles. I found it interesting that this battle started years earlier before the actual war.
