Girolamo Savonarola was an Italian Christian preacher, reformer, and martyr, best known for his conflicts with dictatorial leaders and corrupt clergy. After the downfall of the Medici in 1494, Savonarola was the head ruler of Florence, creating a democratic republic. His main enemies were the Duke of Milan and Pope Alexander VI, who filed for many restraints against him, however, all of them were disregarded.Añadido al timeline:
