Originally a small conflict between the Oipentian Earl of Baroba and the Iopon Duke of Epizena, it evolved into a larger scale war after the Razing of Sestosa, with Iopo declaring war on Oipenta.
The war decimated the Iopon economy and was a major cause to the collapse of the Iopon Empire, but it heavily boosted the Oipentan economy with new technologies for war being produced and new territories acquired.
