When the Nazis declared war more than one million Australian men and Women served in World War II. The main impact on Australia was when the Japanese bombs destroyed Sydney Harbour. Women had huge roles in this war compared to the last as they worked as doctors, pilots, and worked at shipyards and factories.

World War II impacted Australia greatly because we were allies with other countries and this helped us prepare for the upcoming Vietnam and Korea war. It was also good because Australian women were more included and were allowed to fight for Australia.
